Have an abundance of her hangers and never had a problem with smell or mold.

antimicrobial hangers??? Joy Mongano is selling these now on HSN. Just seems rather unneccessary to me.  I have never felt my hangers were full of filth and bacteria. She seems rather overboard on this  germ "thing" with her products.... Just sayin....

Well, if everyone who watches her shows already has her hangers, it's not likely they'll buy more if she comes up with some new color, right?

On the other hand ... from all the covid hand sanitizer germ mask hysteria, having antimicrobial hangers just might appeal to some ... and generate sales.

Get on the germ bandwagon ...  That's my take on it.

It's a sellling tactic and nothing more.  We do need some germs in our life and I am sure those that MAY be on my hangers won't cause any life threatening illnesses!!!  I do not like Joy Mongono (to me she is obnoxious) so I wouldn't buy a thing from her anyway.

Is Joy's price going up on these hangers, significantly?

Just wondering if "antimicrobial" was a new "catch word," for price increases?

I've never gotten mold, but I don't live in a tropical climate. I buy those moisture removers at the Tree and keep one in each closet. They are inexpensive, easy to use and good for humid weather. When the bottom is full of water, I just discard and replace them. They have them at Amazon too.

Like you, I buy these, esp for my "added on" "Mud Room.":

Work really well.  (I was thinking of putting 1+ in my closed pantry).

The time is ripe to take advantage of this market. Antimicrobial/Antibacterial/Antiaerosol/AntiAuntie.

Got people scared to do anything that involves anyone other than their own family members. Why not jump on the money train along with the other companies profiting off of fear?
