Why is this ?

I am the first to admit that what happened in Boston was awful - innocent people and a child hurt or killed and I don't want to diminish it BUT every month this many or more of the best young people in this country. The healthy , young and corageous soldiers in Afghanistan are injured and killed. as many as at the marathon or more. where is the outrage over that ?where are the moments of silence for them?
