Why does CNN pull out Barbara Starr for certain stories???

I find this annoying. Like she's the ultimate authority! Until I googled her, I once thought she worked for the government. Nope, she works for CNN.

She's probably developed a lot of expertise and contacts over the years in certain.subjects. So yes, she might be more knowledgeable than.her colleagues in these areas. Why does that bother you?

Seems like they pull her out after they've hashed and rehashed a story and then need ol' Barbara too keep up the interest or pretend that new information has been discovered.

Because she is CNN's Pentagon correspondent.

Yes, this is what google states. Seems like they'd use her first instead of last for a story.

Because when she isn't reporting, she is held in a sealed underground compartment. {#emotions_dlg.scared}

Right, they keep her in a bunker. That tired "i just got out of bed look" makes her version more compelling. {#emotions_dlg.scared}

She may say she works for CNN but she really works for the government first because she totally buys whatever line anyone in the Pentagon feeds her.

That she isn't a beauty speaks well that CNN doesn't insult the viewer by believing we will pay attention only to leggy great looking younger females. Give me a sleepy middle-aged smart woman any day, someone I can relate to rather than those who are carefully prepped visually and verbally.

I'd rather see that "tired. I just got out of bed look" than some busty DD, blonde chippie, wearing a skin tight sweater that's unbuttoned down to there, and a micro-mini skirt and 5 inch hooker heels, any day.

Was Yuban, then changed to Plaid Pants due to forum upgrade, and apparently, I'm back to being Yuban.
