I think at one point all of us at one point or another have been "schoolers."

My only issue with deleting posts which are labeled inappropriate is who is the judge of what is and is not appropriate? Are there certain rules in place that have to be followed?
Perhaps the person or person who censors could explain the criteria the Q goes by on the forums.
Thank you.
The mods here are. I had a completely helpful post removed yesterday. I've said before and I'll say it again and again...it's not the post, it's the poster. Two posters can say the same thing; one post will be removed and one will stay. Go figure.

@IamMrsG wrote:@Maudelynn Instead of it being a case of some people who "can't stand to be schooled," maybe some people can't stand the schoolers.
That is a VERY strong possibility, astute MrsG!!!

The world is a scary place and some are uncomfortable with facts being presented that don't coincide with their long-held beliefs. Some cling to the status quo where they feel comfortable. I've never seen someone change their thinking on these forums but it's obvious when they set out to take down a thread not to their liking.

I'm sorry you misunderstood: The elephant in the middle of the room is always a fact.
Some people really detest facts.

Honestly - both sides of the aisle do this. They argue nonstop and then when facts are presented they start personal attacks. Or, in some cases, they BEGIN with personal attacks. Pretty sad for a forum full of women who claim to be grown up.

Get rid of the stupid button. Let posters stand by what they say. Everything doesn't even deserve a reaction.
