Re: Why do you come on forums?

It's pretty much just a pastime like going on Twitter or any other site where people express opinions on different topics.

I just laugh when someone who shall not be named posts about L.R.

Don't give them any time. Ignore it and one day he/she might go away.

Re: Why do you come on forums?

I like to learn things from the people here, on pet forums, health, jewelry, recipes, holiday, book club and others.  There's people here I really like to read what they have to say. Movies!! Wow that is a good one too.

There's things I skip like others here do.  There's a little something for everyone.

Re: Why do you come on forums?

I began coming here to read the customer reviews, then the forums after my daughter passed away, and I learned about it from watching QVC on TV. Just a distraction to pass the time. I like the information shared on a variety of products and topics that interest me. Enjoy seeing the members uplift and encourage one another through hard times, and rejoice with them through good times. Along the way I began to post and met some I gladly call my friends. Like to keep up with what is going on in their lives, as well as show my support, or share info if I have anything to add for any who ask.

Not my favorite or primary way to socialize, but still a nice outlet and resource. Don't read or post near as much as I used to since the last upgrade resulted in a lot of glitches that bother my eyes.

@LurkyLoo, I am sorry for the loss of your daughter, but I am happy you joined the forums.

Like you I have found some very nice posters here who share and care about others which can make for a better day.

I do also read some of the reviews but shop very little as I am retired and don't need much.

Thank you and bless you, @RetRN. I have enjoyed reading many of your posts- you are certainly one who cares and shares. ❤️

I'm retired, too, and had to downsize after selling my house. I usually only shop now for the basic necessities- other than for Christmas, birthdays, etc. Have some Cuddl Duds coming for this cold PA winter weather.

Stay warm and enjoy the rest of your day!

My life is sad, lonely, and difficult-other than 15 hours a week I'm my Mom's caregiver. And the do everything else in/outside her home person. Sadly she's in hospice now. But before that I was doing same. For three years now.

I like the human interaction, and the distraction of things such as fashion.

Re: Why do you come on forums?

I come for friendship for a form of human contact. I no longer work and most of the neighbors i have all work so i have little interaction with people. I enjoy reading about what other people are doing around the country/world
