Why do I keep losing my post when I hit "submit"?

When I write a response to a thread and then go to submit it, there's no post. It's happened to me lots of times. What am I doing wrong? ${#emotions_dlg.confused1}$

Scroll down. It's possible you used a banned word and you need to edit your post.

The option to submit a post also times out, so if it takes a while to compose your post or you go and do something else and then come back, a lot of times your comments won't appear.

It's very possible you took too long (according to TPTB) to compose your post. The posts are timed out (don't have a clue when that is...) and will vanish into thin air (and unfortunately the post is deleted forever...) when you hit SUBMIT.

If you've taken time to write a novella style post ${#emotions_dlg.laugh}$ then you want to make sure your post will definitely show up when you hit SUBMIT, so hit PREVIEW first. If your post will not show up in PREVIEW, then it is timed out.

Or to save time, just highlight your text, right-click on your post and COPY your post before you hit SUBMIT. If your post vanishes into thin air, then right-click and hit PASTE. When your post appears in the Post a Reply box just re-submit. That should do it.
