@tansy,  I've encountered it on my iPad, iPhone, and Mac, all of them with a variety of browsers.   All with up-to-date software.   I think it's a technical glitch affecting just about any device or browser.   

This website isn't a priority to the powers-that-be, so I don't expect a fix unless it happens by accident when the IT staff is changing something else.   

I'm not usually a critical or cynical person, but I do find it odd that a company as large and established as QVC seems to care so little about their website (the shopping area, too -- not just the forums).

I have to sign in 2 to 3 times several times a day!! You would think we're all trying to break into Fort Knox!!

Vivian,  they had a poor programmer or set of them! You have a difficult time going back to a previous screen, you either get a cloudy screen w/ the whirling disc or you have to tap twice etc It's a mess! They continually recommend Out-of-stock or unavailable merch. Why? Programmers were not logical thinkers, computers are easy: on/off or yes/no, binary choices! If this, then this. They forgot the " this" I guess! Take notes at how many little glitches there are! Maybe my iPad is too sensitive or my fingers hover too closely. I programmed for IBM back in the day when it was a Fortune 500 co. And people about it and were impressed if you said you worked there! Comes and goes and we all get old! By the way, I am dealing w/ your situation too, but there are 2 of us. One of us refuses to acknowledge any "forgot my keys" moments!  We will "survive" and you will too. Hope you have someone to talk to and to help you. I don't know where you are but I am a Leo and my Mom was a flamin' red Irish women who believed that power of God was All!

I find that the website redirects me to this log in screen,

which takes me to my shopping account -- 

it is not a login screen for the Community:

To avoid the 2nd shopping account sign in screen, I scroll down to the bottom of the page,

click/tap "Blogs & Forums",

use the red "Sign in" at the upper right,

and that seems to work.

When I get to your second picture, I just back up one page by using the back arrow and then try again, and that usually does the trick for me.

I think there are 2 separate issues here.

#1 -- Some are finding that the website is automagically logging them out.

This doesn't happen to me with my Mac or iPad (I rarely use my iPhone here).
I normally wouldn't encounter this because for security reasons I don't remain signed in to any website if I'm not actively using it.

Even so, when the reports are posted by others I have tried to duplicate it from time to time, leaving my iPad or my Mac logged in for a while -- but I find that I can return an hour later and I'm still logged in.   

Haven't been able to duplicate the issue, but I do understand and care about the fact that it's happening to others.

#2 -- Others are seeing what I described in my earlier posts on this thread... 

when we log out and try to sign in again, we find ourselves at the shopping site login page (the one I posted as Screen #2).   

I've been seeing this for quite a long time.   Clearing browser cookies/cache/website data can help temporarily stop it, but not for long.  

We see a wide variety of reports about tech glitches, but the same problems aren't showing up for everyone.   My guess is that at least some of the QVC Social Team have seen the glitches with their own activity here, and they do send along reports to the IT staff when they have details.   

However, if the reports are general, sporadic, and vague, I wouldn't be surprised if IT just ignores the reports.  As someone with a career in IT I am not saying this is acceptable, because it is not acceptable behavior for professional tech support... I'm just stating what I've seen with the Q. 

So, even though it's a pain in the neck the more details provided when posting about tech problems the more likely it is that they will be forwarded to IT.

That's what I do also. The first sign-in page looks different and I believe it is the sign-in page for the shopping site, not the forum site. If you back out without signing in and then click sign in again it brings up the forum sign-in page. I suspect this is a calculated move to create extra page hits or to get you back to the shopping site instead of the forum.

Nah, they just have a horrible computer programmer/company. No matter how many times I've told them, they won't switch.
