Why Is The Q Participating In The Red Carpet Event At The Oscars?

I don't understand why the Q has to go to California and promote the Oscars every year. I've noticed that for the past 2-3 years they stopped the "Fashion Show Week" from New York. I think it just costs $$$$ and that is passed on to the customers which is an unnecessary expense. I don't get the connection.

Your thoughts please.

Lisa was showing a preview of a leather dress she is selling for the G.I.L.I. line. Has anyone purchased this? I think it would be way too hot and I didn't like the way she said you had to take it off.

I like Lisa, alot - just not sure of that leather dress.
