Why Do Husbands Stay?

A few months ago, in my area, (this only made local news), a woman drowned her 2 year old daughter in a near by river, and let her lifeless body float down stream.

This past week, in the in southern California, a woman dropped her 7 month old baby off of the the fourth floor of the parking garage of a hospital.

In both cases, the husbands have said that they are standing by their wives.

I don't get it!

Why?

These women killed, murdered their child in cold blood!

Why do the husbands stay with these murderers and stand by their sides?

Can someone please explain this to me?

I mean, if I had a husband, and he murdered our child, I sure as helll wouldn't be standing by his side, making excuses as to why he did what he did. I would be six degrees of pizzed! I would be filing divorce papers. His sorry butt would be OUT of the house, as well as all of his krap.

Why do these husbands stay by the women who killed/murdered their child?

Can anyone explain?
