The phone rang in my husband's room in the cardiac unit of our local hospital early this morning. When I answered there was a loud blasting sound and then someone said,"Hello, this is your captain speaking" and that's when I hung up. I've heard about this company being able to circumvent the do not call list by constantly changing their number but something has to be done. I realize they just go through random numbers but don't the owners have a conscience and know that they could be calling people who are hospitalized or in nursing homes, etc. My husband was startled awake by the call and I was awake but exhausted by a long night and would like to let this company know how inappropriate these calls are but I didn't listen long enough to find out who to call. There must be a benefit to a company to keep making these calls but I just find it disgusting.
