Who should play Susan Boyle?

Just happened to catch some of the "Hello Ross" show on E (the guy that used to do comedy interviews for Jay Leno). Anyway, he mentioned that they are going to be making a movie about Susan Boyle's life, the Scottish singer that appeared on Britain's Got Talent with such an amazing voice and not quite the look to match, then the industry proceeded to make her over. Word is that Meryl Streep is being considered for the part. I can see that, Meryl can transform herself into almost anyone.

If it isn't Meryl Streep, who would you recommend to play Susan Boyle?
