I never play but I might buy a few today. My kids play. I actually think I should play the PA lotteries instead because Id have a better chance being everyone else is playing the Power Ball. lol.
I tell my husband I would not want that amount of money! It would make me nervous. To that he jokingly says are you crazy? lol.
No, but Id give more than half of it away to help others and pay off my childrens homes and set up college funds for my grandchildren. I just don't want THAT much money!

We only do Powerball when it gets really high, so I purchased 3 yesterday and 1 for DD. Someone WILL win this, so it might as well be one of us!

I know what the odds are. But, you know what? Someone IS going to win and it might as well be one of us from Viewpoints!

Bought three. There are 3 lottery ticket stores right across the state line . . . I'd venture to guess between the three there must have been over 300 cars and lots of traffic turning in and back out on a four lane not divided highway.
I slipped into the one in the middle . . . which has a drive thru window . . . not a soul in line . . . girl at the window, handed her my six bucks got my ticket . . . asked her name which is Amy and she said she is the ONLY Amy there and that IF I won I'd be back to give her a nice Big Fat Bonus! And away I went, there and out in about less than 2 minutes. Faster than our awful McD's which I don't go to at all these days! I'm guessing hardly anyone knows about the drive thru window there . . . yay!!! You can't cash in a winning ticket at the drive thru . . . only purchase them.
I think it is fun maybe twice a year to buy a few. Most I ever won, I matched 2 or 3 numbers a long time ago in Texas while back home during a family visit vacation . . .and won 102.00. Other than winning my 2.00 or 4.00 back . . . that is about it.

It isn't like anyone here is throwing away their rent money or their food money or electricity money or car payment money on a few tickets.
No need to be Debbie Downer. It is fun. It is a few bucks. And it does support the Hope Scholarship program. So yee haw. All of six bucks I spent. I can throw away way more than six bucks on much less in a blink of an eye on things I don't need.

I heard on the news today that these are *more* likely to happen to you than winning this lottery:
- A vending machine falling on you and killing you.
- An asteroid storm killing you.
- Becoming U.S. president.

Me.
And I'm going to win....feeling lucky!
I'm already spending it in my head.
