Who remembers when phone #'s had PERSONALITY???

I know I am dating myself, but who remembers when you knew exactly where someone lived, based on their phone #? Our # was Parkway 65421. At that time, you could pinpoint where someone lived within a couple of blocks just based on their phone #. I'm not THAT old...just turned 60 a couple of weeks ago. Seems like centuries since life was that simple. Anyone else???
