Wow - haven't thought about HF in years! lol

I remember them at the local mall.

Meltaway mints - I have a recipe for those.

And you could always count on a HF basket as a gift when one didn't know what to buy for somebody - especially the men.

They still put in a kiosk in our mall during the holidays. Back when the mall was built in 1975 they had a store front there for about 10 years before they left our town.

Best hard maple candy around. I worked in a women's clothing store right across from them and would fill up my pockets with some of their hard candy while I stood on my feet for 8 hours. Oh the days of high school and college, living off of candy, Jack Daniels, and Disco Dancing.

I remember kiosks at the malls and occasionally they would open a sort of seasonal store at the holidays in some vacant store.

I remember my Mother buying the hard licorice candy from the bins by the bagfull.

During Christmas season they set up a space at a mall near us. They always seem to be busy. Their bologna is so good. And so are their cheeseballs.
