My doctor has prescribed a short course of prednisone--no more than a week or so. He described in clear detail what my reaction COULD be. I'm a little nervous but it's just for a short time and I've warned family and friends about this and have given them leave to tell me if/when I need a "time out". I've stocked up on plenty of good books in case I have to remove myself to a quiet spot.
If you've taken steroids, especially if you have recent experience, I'd like to hear about it, and especially how you handled some of the negative effects. I would truly appreciate the benefit of your experience.
