It seems this past week when i have tuned in and seen Jane (who i like very much).....she keeps talking about somebody Greg who works behind the scenes???  But she is taking about/to him alot...was wondering who exactly he is and if it has been mentioned......

He's a camera man.  She keeps saying that he went to California - for a job? - but came back to QVC.  

Don't know why she mentions him as much as she does.  I've heard her allude to him a few times and I rarely watch her.

I feel that Jane overdoes it on the Greg thing...I believe she thinks it's cute or funny and I find it to be neither.  Enough already, Jane...I like watching your show occasionally but am really tired of the Gregcam thing.

You do that too much and the audience will feel as though they are interrupting a private conversation or that we are outsiders.  The audience loses interest in that stuff very quickly.  It was one of the things that Patti used to do a lot with the crew and it was uncomfortable and I just plain wanted to see and hear about the product.... It isn't cute, it isn't interesting, it isn't even productive for QVC.

I may be WAY off base here so, don't quote me on this:

I recall reading many a thread over the years about Jane and Greg and wondering who they were talking about (I didn't even know which host Jane was). Eventually through the threads the story appears to be that both started at QVC at the same time and he has been the cameraman for her specific shows for a long time and they are buddies (their families included) off air. She stated once that she looks good on air because he does so well with the camera (zooming in when she asks, zooming out, showing details, etc). They're a team and she wants him to be recognized for his efforts/hard work.

Honestly, I have to say that many a camera shot has ruined a presentation so I can see that being real.

Beyond that, I know nothing.

She also spoke about her bestie LR a lot.  She went on a leave of absence and when she came back, she no longer spoke about LR.

I think it's such  nice and refreshing for a change !!  It seems to be just  light fun and entertainment.   It's nice to turn on the TV and see Jane having fun, being uplifting and light on a Thursday.  This world is hard enough with more problems than I can count.  It's nice to have a fun diversion once a week.  IMO
