Who Else Did We Bring Down and is Now Back Up?

Recent discussions got me to thinking...


Without discussing the individual points (we've already debated them to death), who else did we as a society build up, only to bring down through their own actions or someone else's.


The most obvious is Martha Stewart. In politics, Anthony Weiner is attempting a comeback after his recent scandal. Also Leona Helmsley, but I think her tax issue ruined her, didn't it? I don't recall her climbing her way back up to her previous position. Oh, and Mark Sanford of SC is back in the business of politics from what I hear.
