Women seem to be better multi-taskers. As an example, if my husand is backing the car out of the garage, and he wants to say something as simple as "how many green bags should we take into the store", he will stop backing up while he talks. If I have a list of four places we need to go (bank, grocery store, library, pizza place), he says to just tell him one at a time because it gets too confusing if I rattle them all off at once.

DH would answer, but it may not have anything to do with my question.

When I multitask I make lists. I was the trustee and executor of my stepmom's estate, a home that had never been painted, never had the carpet changed, never had the grout cleaned on the tile floors in 27 years. Made major repairs to the master shower stall floor getting new porcelain poured. When all was completed, the Realtor said it was immaculate and looked like a recently built property. The person who bought it wanted the chandelier in the entry way and in the dining room which I had professionally cleaned. The one in the entry was hanging from a vaulted ceiling. They were beautiful and purchased by my parents. I had fresh light bulbs put into every single light fixture in every room. The neighbors thanked me for improving the value of their home too and elated by the price I got which was amazing for a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom 1690 sq ft townhome with one attached wall and private front and backyard that was built in the late 80's. When I had the house painted I included the interior of the garage and replaced the garage door springs; so even the garage looked sparkling clean and new. Yes, the garage door had springs. The alarm system was analog. The remote control for the front gate was analog. I hate to say it but I don't think the buyer will ever be able to make a profit by selling it. I just don't see how plus the shopping in the area has some vacancies by major stores that left! My brother would not have been as thorough. In fact he saw no reason to get the grout cleaned until he saw it later sparkling and beautiful.

in my case i would say that i'm the multi-taker in our house. dh on the other hand will do one at a time, whether it's work or play, but when he does something, he does it extremely well. what i'm saying here is my husband excells in everything he does. i can't say the same.

Early man had one job to do: hunt. Women, on the other hand, were gatherers, child bearers, and had to do many things at once all while looking out for their safety and the safety of their offspring. . Yep. women are the multi taskers. Very few men are, though there are some.

Women multi-task much better than men. I have lived for 35 years with my husband and 3sons! Believe me it's women!!!!!
