Any chore that prevented me from doing what I really, really, really wanted to do that day.😊

 

I actually "hated" mopping! We had big, cumbersome, thick mops and I had a hard time wringing them out! It was a SERIOUS "chore". I wish Spin Mops were around then because my mother was not someone you could tell that you COULD not, or DID not want to do something; and live to tell about it!😁

The chore I hate the most is dusting.  I hate having to move things around on tables, bureaus and shelves to dust.  I would rather scrub toilets.

We had a carpeted staircase. Actually it was more of a carpeted runner there was exposed hardwood on each side. My job was to dust the wood every Saturday. The right side had the handrail. I hated dusting around those spokes (or whatever they are called). The left side was so much easier to dust. I just remember hating to dust around those spindles.
