K Street won't let anything happen to change the ""status quo"". Rest assured taxpayers . . . we will continue to foot the bill AND they will continue with their perks and I bet it is happening as we type!

The more things change . . . the more things remain the same . . . sort of thing.

Sad

But

True

No world is perfect...but -

I think Roger should resign, Condoleeza should get the job and institute across the board rules & regulations for behaviors that the league won't tolerate - no exceptions for star players.

And since law enforcement isn't enough, what rules and regulations should be instituted...3-strike rule, one-and-done, before the law is done with it...what?

Actually it is in the public interest.

Who pays for their stadiums???? Taxpayers, not usually owners.

Who made this multi-BILLION dollar business tax exempt? And made them exempt from anti-trust regulations?

Who gave them the right to black out televised games in certain markets? And makes them run on BOTH cable & broadcast when games are in their market?

Our leaders in D.C.

If taxpayers pay for stadiums, why are they named after businesses and not taxpayers?

Whatever the league feels is needed to protect their good name and restore discipline.

There has been too much flip-flopping and stars are treated differently than other players.

The team owners sell naming rights to businesses and rake in a lot more $$$ that way.

The businesses didn't pay to build the stadiums - they just gave owners money so they get their name on TV, radio and signage at the stadium.

Ummm, maybe Goddell needs to step down, but Rice would be a disaster.
