Bob Dylan isn't missing-he's on tour. He just hasn't responded to the Nobel committee.

His manager has not given a statement, either.

He does not have to be there to be awarded this prize, although it wouldn't surprise me if at some point he declines.

@Pearlee Interesting you mention sins. I wonder if Mr. Nobel was trying to atone for the explosives he invented by setting up awards to honor the achievements of others in the BETTERMENT of humanity. Mr. Dylan may decline this award as a matter of principle.

In the early 60's when he made music, you could actually understand what he was singing. Then at some point, he started to mumble his lyrics. Not a good sound.

Maybe he took his money and is going to buy himself a new voice.
