Hey, I think this is the first Louisiana I know of on the list. I am currently watching a Peter Santanello documentary on the Louisiana bayou... inside off grid houseboat life.

@monicakm

Nope! I've been posting here for eons and always say I'm in NOLA.  (Waving to you)

In Ok. It's 74° with 13% humidity. So nice outside right now with sun & light winds. Too bad it's not like this year round. We wouldn't have to use heat or air. That would be great. Windows open airing out the house.

If you need a new AC you better think about if you want to buy a new one this year or wait until they come out with their new refrigerant Jan 2025. DH said the units also cost more money. They have to make changes so the new units will fit. That's an extra expense.

This was supposed to happen a few years back but didn't. Now our AC guy says it's happening next year even though they have not made a unit yet. He told us we don't want one of those until after they have come out. He said you need to wait until all the kinks are worked out.

Now we have to decide to buy one now or wait for several years. Ours is 24 yrs old. It still cools well.

Wondering if the new ones will cool like they should or not.
