Interesting how they leave reasons for some deleted threads/posts, but not others. Yesterday I noticed that they deleted several posts in a thread, but there was only one moderator's comment about deleting one of the posts.  Several comments have disappeared without a trace.

Was it a thread that could have been considered policital? Those go poof quickly. Some that are hidden take longer.

I didn't see the thread in question.  Normally, they either leave the thread title and reason for removal on the first page of the forum or they move it several pages away (not sure why that's not standardized).

When we see several posts within a thread removed and only one post from the moderators explaining the changes, that's usually because all the missing posts were related in some way.

However, I've noticed just in the past couple of days a few threads or posts simply vanished.  I'm just guessing, but since one of the moderators mentioned they're short-staffed due to the weather perhaps that's why they simply removed threads/posts with no remnants.

Sometimes innocent threads turn political like the pizza thread yesterday.   Next thing,  a fight breaks out and poof,  there it goes.

It's easier to find current threads if you click on the "community chat" link to the left instead of clicking the link above called "forum listing."
