Do you raise your voice?

Do you swear?

Do you cry?

Do you yell?

Do you fester?

Do you seek revenge?

Trying to make sense of why some who get mad resort to violence as a way to express their pain, hurt, anger.

Depending on the situation and "how" angry I am, I would say I raise my voice. If the other person is screaming at me, then I usually stop talking and let them ramble on. Sometimes, I just choose to walk away. It takes 2 to argue.

When you're angry how do you express that anger?

Depends on the source of my anger and where it happens. Of the choices you've listed I will go with "raise my voice" especially if a business is trying to "take me for a ride".

I ain't into destruction or revenge, only letting the person(entity)know that I am not too happy. Never use any foul language unless my anger is directed towards myself, then all bets are off.

I do all the above, but I've never hurt anyone. I work it out in my mind, fist to a pillow, screaming at the top of my voice ..... let the pressure off. Revenge ..... maybe, but not likely.

I've been known to do all, except revenge. Revenge just doesn't get the results I'm looking for. The best revenge truly is a good life. However, I'm all about 'do no harm' and I've been working on my temper for decades. Doing much better.

i have a punching bag that gets a rather good beating quite often. when i'm really stressed i go to the shooting range. :=)
