The last time you went to the library? I go a couple times a year to support book fairs. I get free ebooks from amazon prime and I can do my own research on my iPad. I know there are those that don't have access to computers and they can at the library.

I haven't been to the library in forever. I have a kindle too.

I do need to go to the library to get a card and then with an application named "overdrive" or something like that I can borrow ebooks from the library. Have you heard of that, Moxie? My sister does it and highly recommends it.

I go to the library about once a week. I'm an avid reader and it's not unusual for me to read 2-3 books a week, sometimes more. I have the Kindle app on my iPad, but I still prefer to hold an actual book. My library does use the Overdrive app for e-books, but it seems that more often than not when I try to check out an e-book, I get a "sorry, someone else just checked that book out" message.

Add me to the growing list o those who love to actually go to the library. I love everything about it, the look, the feel, the reverence, the little kids proudly clutching their stack of books, even the smell of the books. We have a beautiful library and we go there at least a couple times a week. I was there yesterday.

I often walk there on my lunch hour, grab a stack of magazines and sit in one of the big, comfy chairs and relax for an hour. I hope that electronic devices (although they serve a purpose) never replace the library building. I like to hold a book in my hand and actually turn the pages.

I can still remember being 13 and getting my first library card - of my very own - at the big, stone library in South St. Louis. I could not believe that those thousands and thousands of books, and the world they opened up, were at my fingertips. I am happy to say that my love of libraries, and of the written word, has been passed down to my children. Smile

All the time

I request from the online catalog and pickup at my home library. I like to stop at the member libraries when I am out to check out books, each library has different selections

My hubby borrows CD at least twice a week and I often go with him, we borrowed a lot of DVD about two years ago when we lost our cable due to Sandy

My husband does the same thing. He commutes 90 miles each way to work and it helps with the drive. It is funny though, when he's at a good part in the book he'll sit in his car and wait for it to finish! Ha!
