I have a Kindle and enjoy it but not everything is in e-format. For those books that are not in e-format, I go to the library to get them. Also, I borrow a lot of DVDs from the library. I prefer to get e-books on my Kindle as it is much easier to take to work than a large, bulky book. docsgirl

At least weekly, though I am borrowing more digital material now.

We reserve books and music online and pick it up at a small library annex near our home, rather than driving down the hill into town. I load a large number of books online straight onto my kindle. The quick gratification of having a book appear at midnight or when we're out of town is addictive.

I have a library card,... in my home state,... which is about 500 miles from here....

I do support book fairs though as my grandchildren love to read. I rarely read books, maybe one a year, but usually pick them up from the grocery store.

Hmm, it's been about a year - I donated dvds to the used book store part of the library.

Twice this last year - it was a lending library. I use Amazon buy books of my interest or curiosity. I have so enjoyed libraries in the past - meeting someone for a chat, or just indulging myself. Today, bookstores are rare now, and libraries are smaller due to modern day tech devices.

I haven't been to the public library in ages---I go to my college library more often and like some of you, have a Kindle and Internet---there are loads of unsavory types at the public library

I haven't been to the library in forever. I have a kindle too.

I do need to go to the library to get a card and then with an application named "overdrive" or something like that I can borrow ebooks from the library. Have you heard of that, Moxie? My sister does it and highly recommends it.

My local library uses Overdrive & the 3MCloud app. Books on both download very fast. On the 3M app you have the book for 21 days. (you can return it early if you choose)On Overdrive, you can choose the length of your borrowing period. Our library doesn't seem to have many eBooks & the ones that they do have have long waiting lists for the more popular ones.

Love reading all of the magazines' latest issues, too! Saves me tons of money!

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).
