I have never even tried to read posts with multiple quotes even in the old(and much superior) previous BB format. If I wanted to add a post, I deleted all "quotes", except the one I was quoting.-------- My suggestion? Since they seem to love to upgrade(?), allow only 1 quote in each post. More posts?..YES. Easier to know who said what to whom? No question, YES!----------------- hckynut(john)

I think everything was better.

I would agree about just deleting all the older quotes and leaving up the last one, eto which you are responding.
It's unusual, except on this board, to see such long quoting. There's probably no way to do it well so if posters don't keep extending the quote upon quote upon quote, etc, it will be legible.
It seems like 9 times out of 10 those multiple quote posts are some childish back and forth between two people and it's not worth reading anyway. ![]()

Generally the poster is responding to the last post. All others should be deleted.
If you are responding to other posts in the multiple array, address them individually.
Multiple posts have always been a nightmare. I see some of the more prolific posters doing it frequently. I think some posters do not know how to delete them.

But, since they didn't, what I do is, if I quote a post, I divide my reponse from their post myself, by putting in a line between them, like this:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hopefully they will rectify this, but in the meantime it's easy to do it yourself, and it makes it so much clearer to the reader, who wrote what.
---------------
I also type a line in before I quote! I have thought about deleting prior posts, but always wonder if someone won't be offended that their post was deleted! When I am quoting to a long post, sometimes I delete all but the part I am answering!
