ROOFERS show up at 8:00 a.m., the exact time that I'm going to bed 🙃 Construction noise lulls me to sleep but I don't think it will this time! It sounds like they may very well go through the roof 😬

Long ago I had wood shingles and had to replace. Let me tell you, the bugs that moved down into the upstairs had to be seen to be believed.

Just had a new roof put on last week. It took 2 days. The roofers were very professional, did a good job, and cleaned up after themselves. The only problem was all that banging and all the workmen made the dogs anxious, and the backyard was off limits. Glad it's over and done. Good luck on catching some zzzzzzzzs.

Yikes know the feeling! I'm on vacation this week and like to sleep in. The neighbors about 3 doors down and across back yards are having a mega storage building constructed for their boat and 2 RV's. They have been here for a few weeks but I had to get up for work so the banging wasn't an issue. This week, bang, bang, bang...chainsaw, nail gun and boy does sound carry. Pillow over my head isn't working 😫

When did you expect them to show up? 8:00 AM is customary. And yes, it's a noisy job.

They showed up at 7a.m. at my house. They were trying to beat the sweltering summer heat.

I just had my roof replaced so I know how loud it can be...and then just when I thought it was all over, another troop showed up the next day to put up the gutters.

Thought they already did that the day before! My poor golden thought it was the end of the world.

When are they supposed to show up? I'm confused. Why would you be going to be bed at 8 am?

Okay, you must share what you were doing all night, to stay awake until 8:00 a.m. I only did this after night shifts. Although, I have stayed up until 4:00 a few times recently.
