We had a couple of days of cold and snowy weather here. Today all the snow is melted and it is about 55. It is supposed to be in the 70's next week. It couldn't come a day too early I have to say. I lived in Buffalo a good part of my life and at the time it really didn't bother me. I could never do that now. My friend called me from there last night and she is losing her mind with all the cold and snow.

I'm hoping to be able to watch Fourth of July fireworks on my deck without having to shovel and wear a parka and gloves.

I'm sorry for those of you who are sick of it, but I wish you could send some my way! We had 7" two days ago for the first time in about 6 years, and it's already almost completely gone. It was so beautiful - I want some more!{#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}

I visited Raleigh during the new year and I'm thinking about relocating but it's a bit too hot in the summers for me. We haven't had this much snow in years.

We're finally supposed to get temps up above 40 later this week. I might finally see my street that hasn't been plowed or salted all winter.

What's frustrating to me is that the weather forecasters have been so far off on just about every storm this year. They say that they can't predict even days ahead because of the variations of the patterns but geesh, they can't get it right even hours before! They predict a foot we get a dusting, they predict an inch or less and we get 8 - 10 inches.

I'll say one thing though, we keep getting that freshening layer, so it stays looking pretty and white instead of grungy brown!
