It's 30 degrees warmer in Sochi than where I live.

I have officially given up on the weather forecasters in our area. They are completely clueless! We were supposed to warm up last week several day to close to 50 and then get cold over the weekend again. Close to 50 never happened. I think we were close to 30 2 days.

Just last night I watched the news and they said no negative temps for awhile which is looking up for us. Guess what the temp was this morning? -6!

A winter weather advisory goes into effect at 7:00 p.m and we are supposed to get about 5"" of snow between this evening and tomorrow.

Now they are saying we should hit close to 50 Thursday BUT high winds and lots of rain which will probably cause flooding.

It was one degree above zero this morning when I walked the dog.

Time to go out again...just checked - it's now a balmy 7 degrees...at least the sun is shining!

We have had over 62 inches so far this season with another 6 - 8 inches today. Then it is supposed to warm up and when all this stuff melts, of course everyone is worried about flooding now. Crazy.

We are supposed to "warm up" to 31 today.

My poor dogs are about ready to jump out of their skin. I just can't walk them when it's below 20. There is too much snow on the ground and it hurts their paws to walk through it. They can barely go outside off the deck to do their business without wimpering and whining because their feet are so cold.

I did get a walk in Thursday evening and Saturday afternoon. I'm hoping since it will be 30 today I can get them walked again. They are used to a walk everyday and with this weather, they are getting maybe a walk or 2 a week!

We have 94.8 inches so far...with more to come!

I'm really NOT bragging...I got over the snow around Dec. 26th.
