@corita Same thing with me , I'm very bad at understanding accents and i do really try but to no avail. I realize it isn't there fault, it's important that I understand though.

it's what I do also. If it seems that I'm either not being heard, occasionally the person is just rude, or perhaps the person I'm speaking to isnt experienced in my issue , whatever the reason I say thank you and call back to get someone else and usually my issue is taken care of .

@rms1954 , I do the same. It's simple, and you don't waste your time. If the Rep. is rude, I will say so before I go on!

I've had this happen a lot. You can HEAR them, you just can't understand them. I think those with heavy accents need to stay away from CS and the phones.

I must be one of the few who has to say something before moving on. If they're just plain ruide, I've said that I'm sorry they don't like their job.
I say that b/c that's what it seems to me.

It's always worth a try, but it doesn't always work. I am glad OP got the price adjustment she wanted.

Macy's has hands-down the worst SC anywhere. They dethroned AT&T a few years ago.
