I don't think you can have to much money. But I do think that it's what you do with it that matters.Being charitable & helping others I believe is a responsibility you have when you have been blessed with a lot. "To whom much is given much is expected".

The possibilites that are lost are so sad, although, the buyer wouldn't have likely donated.
I understand what you're saying, but that doesn't mean no one will ever be helped by that transaction. Perhaps the seller was in serious need, or has family medical bills, or is facing bankruptcy. PLENTY of good could come from this, even if it isn't directly donated to some charity.
By the way .... all I've seen in the articles that came up was what someone PAID for the mcnugget. Nowhere does it say what will be done with the money received by the seller .... so why are you so sure of "possibilities lost"? We don't know the whole story yet.

You are absolutely right as well. Usually, the news outlets will let us know if some extreme need was satisfied by by something like this transaction, because of the "human Interest" aspect.

Here's a pic of the $100,000 Golden Chicken McNugget. I would at least see if I could have it set in a nice Gold ring band LOL!!

I used to laugh out loud when Jay Leno was host of the Tonight Show and would do a segment "Stuff We Found On Ebay" and have the audience guess whether it was SOLD or NOT SOLD ..some realy outrageous things for sale..like buying food that looked like a special object! .......but not at the exorbitant price as @Marp 's..... Just search You Tube: Leno Stuff We Found On Ebay.....

Maybe for a gold nugget. Won't that start to disintegrate?

We all have choices.......but as my mother would say, more money than brains. That always made me laugh.

That's gotta be either a joke or organized money laundering.

Is it returnable? I'd make sure it wasn't and then take the money and run but pretty sure it's not going to remain in the same condition by the time it gets to the "winners" house.
