Become over the top, almost obsessive?
There are a couple of designers, that have shows on QVC, who have a small group of fans, that, seem to have rather lost perspective about these designers.
As an example, there was a thread, awhile back, about how one designer on QVC had stolen another's design?
Curious I checked it out and thought "are you kidding me"? While the designs were similar, cetainly not a copy of one another, it was a design idea that you see all over. Either of the designers, very well could have, quite probably did, get their inspiration, from someone else.
While many people acknowledged this, there was a group who were totally lived, had all kinds of conspiracy theories and thought QVC was a terrible entity to allow this to happen to their guy?!
There is also a jewelry designer, who, I often see complaints about the declining quality of the pieces. It's all QVC's fault and their lack of quality control. OK- even if quality control is lacking, QVC doesn't manufacture the pieces, isn't the declining quality originating with the designers company?
I think it's great to support those whose work you admire, but, is it just me, or does support sometimes seem a little "out there"?
