When Calls the Heart Question

Last night on When Calls the Heart, the two stars stated that they would appear on Home and Family today with an announcement. I just got home and turned the tv on.  Did they make an announcement yet, or is it still to come.  Just curious.

Love "When Calls the Heart", I found it on Netflix and just finished Season 2.  Does anyone know when Season 3 will be released to Netflix?  Great show.......

I have never watched it, however it looks like a nice show.  I do not understand the title of the show.  Do you know where the title comes from?

Re: When Calls the Heart Question

I have watched maybe 1 and a half shows.  It's so out of touch with reality and history.  I just coundn't waste my time.

It's the Hallmark Channel. This is what they do. I have seen a few seasons because I enjoy escaping from the real world of television sometimes.

I don't watch the show, but I cannot get past the name - what the heck does the title mean? It drives me crazy since I can make no sense of what they are saying. I am not being snarky, I promise. Any light you can shed would be appreciated. Thanks!

When Calls The Heart is one in a series of books by Janette Oke.

When Calls The Heart, 1983

When Comes The Spring, 1985

When Breaks The Dawn, 1985

The placement of the word "When" in these titles is called "Inversion"

"Inversion, also known as anastrophe, is a literary technique in which the normal order of words is reversed in order to achieve a particular effect of emphasis or meter."

http://literarydevices.net/inversion/

"Inversion is a term used to refer to the inverting of the normal word order in a sentence or phrase. Writers will use inversion to maintain a particular meter or rhyme scheme in poetry, or to emphasize a specific word in prose."
