Many in the aviation field are skeptical because of the temps, oxygen and length of the flight involved. Not to say it isn't true, but there appear to be too many questions.
But that leaves 15% that DID survive.
As I said, just because it's difficult, does NOT mean that it is IMPOSSIBLE.
Good grief! I just made a statement. You've already stated three times about the possibility (and very insistant about it with use of caps and highlighting). Sorry, but it doesn't affect my life. I have more important things to worry about.

This is what I read. It's definitely a rare occurrence, and not one I'd attempt myself as the odds are against survival.

I'm not buying it. If it's true, the lax security should make everyone shiver.

No security is 100% fool-proof.

I fear there is a lot a lax security all over the world.

Yes, the scariest thing about it is if this kid could hide in the plane like that, what would prevent a suicide bomber from doing it?
I would imagine all airlines will now be looking to preventive measures to stop that from happening!
-OR-
They wouldn't even need the suicide bomber, they could just place the bomb in there and set it to rip somewhere over the ocean!

That's so true!

Does anyone else suspect he might have been in the cargo hold instead of the wheel well and the baggage handlers where he landed are protecting those who sealed him in? Baggage holds are generally somewhat more survivable than wheel wells and reasonably accessible from outside. I would expect him to have pretty severe frostbite if he was in the wheel well that long.

Yes I do believe he made it to Hawaii on the plane, however the scarier part of the story is the lack of security at the San Jose airport.
