Re: What would you love to see out your picture window?

We lived in Oakland NJ at one time when we were all still young. My sister and I had a bedroom over the garage with a huge picture window. We were on a hill, so there was nothing to interfere with our glorious view of the Kittatinny Mountains, the highest point in New Jersey. It was a wondrous site and I'll never forget it.

Of course, I love the sea too. Most people do not realize how beautiful many parts of New Jersey are. All they think of is the pollution from the factories that line the NJ Turnpike.

I would say wild flowers, but then it would look like I was stalking the poster above me (wildflowers).

Seriously, anything green. Mold even.

haha...I should have included an array of wildflowers along the ocean in my post...now that would make it absolutely perfect for me!

In high school, I lived in El Cerrito, CA and when looking out our living room window, I saw all three bridges. Golden Gate, Richmond San Rafael and Oakland San Francisco Bay Bridge.

A cardinal! (the bird {#emotions_dlg.biggrin}). I live in the west and had never seen a live one, until I visited relatives in the Midwest and saw one out of my m-I-l's window. What a gorgeous, beautiful rich red colored bird. I've never seen another one again, so it would be a treat to see one close by.

I have lots of them in my backyard and grew up seeing them on Long Island, NY, too.

But I'd NEVER seen a papa cardinal sitting on a branch with his 3 babies lined up on adjacent branches waiting to be fed (by papa) one by one. But I saw it last year, on a crepe myrtle tree right outside my dining area window.

It was so much fun. {#emotions_dlg.biggrin}
