In a public bathroom they should just put up a sign .....wipe wipe flush. Not wipe wipe wipe wipe wipe wipe wipe wipe wipe flush. Sheesh!

The others don't clean up because they know that you or someone else will do it.
Why didn't you go to the offender and tell her you hoped she was going to clean up the mess she made. It was her problem not yours. If she didn't want to clean it up then it was her problem to find someone who would.

This is the kind of thing that burns me up (being lazy and not cleaning up after yourself). After years and years of dealing with spoiled, lazy kids and now they're almost adults. I blew my top the last time a kid put a piece of trash on the overflowing trash can and just walked away for someone else to deal with it. But it's my own fault for not getting mad and nipping it in the bud sooner. Now I'm made to look like the evil witch. Their father thinks it's child abuse to give kids responsibilities. He would always say something smart *ss to me if I ever tried to get a kid to change out the garbage can, throw their empty drink cups away. He didn't even like it when I started making the kids bring their own dirty dishes to the kitchen sink. He thought I was supposed to go around cleaning up after them like I was their maid. Oooooh, and it irked me so much whenever he would..... nm..... tmi

FYI: Non-commercial toilets have a valve. Look behind your toilet, under your toilet tank...off to the side should be a valve. If your toilet looks like it is about to overflow, turn the knob to the right as quickly as possible to minimize overflow. Then when you've brought the water level down with a plunger--and hopefully cleared the clog--give the knob a few turns to the left to refill your toilet tank. After that, I like to flush and simultaneously plunge, just to make sure the clog is, indeed, cleared.
