I was stopped at a light on a busy, six lane road (four lanes are traveling, two are turning in each direction) and I saw a young man in a safety vest walking two children (around 7 or 8 at the most by their size and their clothing) across the road. They ran to the other side, he waved at the cars for letting them cross, and he turned back, toward the Wawa located across the street (I'm guessing an employee). The children proceed to run down the road carrying a gallon of milk and a grocery bag. This area is a busy, commercial area with a few strip malls and a turnpike entrance down the road. I couldn't believe my eyes. Apparently someone sent two young children to Wawa to pick up groceries alone. Either that or they were home alone and hungry. I felt like I should have notified someone because, with either scenerio, the children weren't being taken care of properly. I figured if I called the police, the children would be gone and I would look foolish. I also felt that if I approached the children, it might be deemed as inappropariate. Now I just feel badly for not doing anything. Would you have done anything?
