I bought the Anna Griffin card sets years ago and I am just bored with making cards so what would you do with the beautiful stickers left? I love them, don't know what to do with them and I put one on my mail box.........I may make some more cards, I will need double sided tape but I just don't mail cards anymore as they postage and these cards were not getting to the destination and I think it was becasue they thought money was inside.......so ideas appreciated. Thank you. Also does anyone chalk paint? Is it easy, do you have to sand the furniture?

Almost everything that is still good and usable I give to the Salvation Army or Goodwill. You would be surprised what they sell there ![]()

@DowntonAbbey - I have donated to my son's elementary school. I know children's hospitals would love supplies too. I got tired of scrapbooking myself....not myself, but scrapbooking.....I just need to keep things simple......

I just donated a HUGE box of card making paper and various craft supplies to my granddaughter's school. I haven't had the time or desire to do crafts in years. I didn't want to throw it all out so I gladly donated it. Perhaps there is a school, church or senior center near you that would welcome such donations.

Elementary schools, daycare or aftercare programs, Sunday schools, nursing homes, anyplace where they need craft supplies and are short on funds. Worst case, just donate them to a thrift store.

Take them to a nursing home.

Our local elementary school is always very grateful for any leftover craft supplies, especially paper and paper craft supplies.

Whenever I send gift cards to someone in a greeting card, I'll write "photos inside--do not bend!".
There aren't any photos but it keeps someone perhaps from opening them.
As far as Chalk Paint, yes I've used it and LOVE IT!
You don't have to sand furniture. I do wipe things down real good with soap and water first and let dry completely. You probably don't have to do that, but if I've purchased something second hand, I'm going to assume it's dirty. LOL.
I've done a half dozen bedroom sets --mostly from the turn of the last century, things that just would take too much time to refinish or were stained/damaged somehow.
The completed pieces look absolutely beautiful.
I only use Annie Sloan's paint, not any of the knock offs, personal choice. I mix paints and get colors I could only dream of.

So excited you have so enjoyed painting with chalk paint. I wish I knew how to take a photo on my cell phone of my living room and let you see a small table I have that I think has been stained a lighter brown and I would love to paint it but have no idea what color and I can take pictures of my living room and where it is and you can give me suggestions on what color would look nice. I don't know how to decorate but I look at romantic magazines and my furniture is all wood so it is like a brown color around the upholstry so if I can figure out how to put my pictures on here I will. What all can you paint with chalk paint? I guess just wood things.
