What would you do.......wedding?

I have a friend I met when in my 20's. Over the years we lost contact. Then found each other about 10-12 years ago. Her hubby died maybe 8-10 years ago very suddenly. She is in her 70s. We live in two different states, over 600 miles apart. Haven't seen each other for about 30 years.

She just got married last week. I really don't know what kind of wedding it was, whether just with immediate family, or including friends and extended family. Nice person. Do not know man she married. We stay in contact thru email and FB. No, I was not invited and didn't expect to be. Distance and holiday time would have been a problem anyway, and I most likely not have gone.

Would you send a gift? If so, small gift? cash? card?
