Oh, I love those little campers. They are called canned hams. Shasta reintroduced a new one in 2015 that is a replica of their old model with a closet size bathroom. I so wanted to buy one.
We already have two trailers that are big and bigger.... With tubs and showers, so, we don't need another one.
A canned ham would be great for going across country. Campgrounds and state parks where you can stay overnight all have bathrooms with showers or you could always use the closet sized bathroom in your canned ham.
Thanks for posting the cute pics.

I LOVE that! My family went camping all the time when I was growing up. I've done the tents but don't like that. Mostly we used campers and so this is right up my ally. The decor is different than what I'm used to but I think it's adorable. I'd go in a heartbeat!

@151949 Even without a bathroom? You know a trailer that small doesn't have one.
I've been camping in campers that small and they do have bathrooms. They are teeny tiny but they have them. I can't say the ones pictured here do but no matter what size camper we had (and we had several different sizes and styles over the years) we always had a bathroom.

Speaking of trailer/rv bathrooms are they easy to clean out? Can a lady do it?

Sure anyone can clean out the holding tanks. First you just shut off the valves to the gray and black water. These valves are located near the sewer hook ups. Then you fill the toilet up with water until the holding tank is full. You then open up the black water valve.... Black water is from the toilet. When done, close the black water valve and open up the gray water valve... Water from the kitchen and bathroom sinks. Now you're done. Of course, you have to either be at a dumping station or hooked up to a sewer with a sewer hose.
I do it all of the time. My 13 year old granddaughter likes to do it when she is with us. We always wear disposable gloves, but there is no mess to contend with.

@Kachina624 Trailers that size do have bathrooms. One of my friends has a little "vintage" trailer very much like the pics posted in this thread. The bathroom is located in a small closet-like room, and has a toilet and tiny sink. It's a tiny trailer, but really cute.
i agree - we used to have a little tiny pop up trailer camper that had a bathrom with a composting toilet and a shower.

My husband keeps the grey water tanks open - directly into the sewer so the only one he has to deal with flushing out is the toilet - newer campers have a place where you keep a hose hooked up to flush the black water tanks after they are emptied out. I don't do it - DH does but I certainly could - it is neither difficult or dirty at all - assuming the person doing it has it properly hooked up.
far and away I have had to do way way way dirtier things as a nurse than anything I've ever had to clean up in a camper.

I think they're cute, to take a nap in.
But for camping, I need a bigger bed (for two!)
And as long as the shower and toilet aren't in the same spot. Don't like how they have that on boats. It's like the shower water would hit the toilet bowl. (THUD---me fainting.)

I used to say camping isn't for me---put me in a nice hotel.
But with bed bugs and all---I'm not a fan of hotels any more.
I practically *camp* in a hotel room now. I use my own sheet, my own towel, I clean off everything with Clorox wipes and still cover knobs and channel changer with rubber gloves, wear platform flip flops in the shower.....It goes on and on!
It's just not worth it!
