Re: What would make me a "happy camper!"

I don't see a bathroom in that thing, and the lack of one would be a deal breaker for me.  I don't do forest service outhouses and communal showers.  That the advantage of a nice, big, modern rig that's not so cutsey.

I agree!  The first time I went camping, I was in shock.  When we arrived and settled in, I could hardly believe what I was experiencing.  We sat on the ground, slept on the ground and had no real bathrooms/showers.  I freaked out and cried for hours until my eyes were literally swollen almost fully shut.  I am not exaggerating.  I ruined everyone's time and we left early.  This is the kind of thing one does after some hideous natural disaster or nuclear holocaust.  It is not the stuff of happy holidays, IMO.

That little camper trailer looks okay as long as there are bathroom facilities.  I could get used to that, but never again a tent and sleeping on the ground.  My parents grew up in the city and I grew up five miles from a major city.  I just don't understand the attraction to camping out.  I'd settle for the trailer, but I'd prefer a hotel/motel.

@151949  Even without a bathroom?  You know a trailer that small doesn't have one.

@Kachina624 Trailers that size do have bathrooms.  One of my friends has a little "vintage" trailer very much like the pics posted in this thread.  The bathroom is located in a small closet-like room, and has a toilet and tiny sink. It's a tiny trailer, but really cute.
