Living room and bedroom is Mediteraian style.  Rest of the rooms are a mishmash of anything, but comfortable. As for art.....early childhood efforts by my son.   I do have antique Japanese Netsuke I inherifted from my father in law. They are animal sculptures signed by different Japanese artists.

I live in a cottage on a lake in Michigan. My decor is cottagy.

My home is pretty casual. A lot are things in my home have been handed down for many generations.  Everywhere I look brings good memories of days gone by.

I like Traditional decor but with my own twist.

My furniture is mostly French Country.  Ivory/cream colored painted mahogany and banged up.  Non toxic finishes.

My artwork is varied from coastal (original local artists) to abstracts to quirky.  

I try to keep to a color theme from room to room so nothing clashes, but rather flows.  

Luckily, my home isn't 'open concept' so I can switch it up as you turn each corner...lol

I have mostly one of a kind pieces.  Although a few re-pro prints that I especially liked, I've had framed and matted beautifully.

I also enjoy fused glass wall sculptures/clocks and ceramics pieces for dimension and also epoxy works.  There are several artists I follow for these items.

Growing up in a home with a lot of Asian influence, I do enjoy a few antique pictures I've inherited and display on our bedroom walls.

I dabble in painting myself and have several pieces that my grandchildren did when they were very young.  They are show-cased also.

Artwork is an obsession with me.  Tonight alone, I've purchased a new piece, it's not one of a kind, but done by hand once ordered.

My saying is you are what you art.

Our art is very eclectic collection from our world travels. Mostly prints and water colors of scenes but also carvings from places like Aruba, brazil, China, Japan, Australia and various places in Europe. Mostly scenery and buildings.
