Useful items such as a sponge-printed utensil holder and All-Clad frypans hanging from an overhead pot rack. A framed Hermes scarf that my parents purchased for me in France is on a wall in my bedroom.

Traditional contemporary or, rather, "what I like" is what I would call my style. Most of my art is art that I created my self (includes much photography, oil paintings, and drawings mainly) and a few pieces from my mother and fathers house that have sentimental value to me.

Some southwestern and the rest is a mish mash of stuff we just like. No real theme. We have landscapes, otters, cats, ocean, metal art you name it.

Mostly Thomas Kinkade framed things. Fell for his art when he and Bob Bowersox sold his "limited editions" on QVC a long time ago. Later, I learned his life was a mess, but I still enjoy his tranquil settings.

Mostly contemporary art, both realistic and abstract. Good composition and use of color are paramount to me, no matter what the medium or content. I also have a beautiful curved Pennsylvania Dutch pitchfork hanging vertically on the wall, along with some African face masks and other small three dimensional objects from travel to foreign countries. All are in various rooms throughout the house, along with a few laminated travel posters from favorite places.
