What type of living room furniture or style, if you have one, would it be called? I would call mine "comfortable" LOL

Liveable

Industrial, 1930's hand-me-downs, and a little "Jessica Fletcher".
Before that, I had really nice "modern"...but the '94 Quake took care of that. I moved to AZ, and started over...

Old Hollywood glam. I have black and white stills of classic Hollywood films and actors and then metallics with black and white and velvet fabrics.

Taditional contemporary.
I also have been buying original artwork when I can. I would like to replace a few prints that I have with either paintings or photgraphs of our local area (there are a lot of covered bridges in Bucks County, PA) or some places we have traveled to.

I have a mixture of liveable, comfortable sofas and recliners in my living room and family room. I also have sentimental antiques, my favorite being my mother's china cabinet and my father's washstand, my granny's Hoosier cabinet.

Several Peter Maxx art pieces I was fortunate to acquire and modern furniture mixed with some eclectic pieces.

My furniture is what I'd call "transitional" in that it blends with any style. I use pastel or the bright version of pastels for a Southwestern vibe.
My art consists of oil paintings, Indian pottery, hand made ceramic sculpture, emphasis on horses.
My mom bought this painting with her first teaching paycheck, to the chagrin of her parents. It always hung in our living room even when we were far from the Southwest. It's Shiprock on the Navajo reservation in the Four Corners area.

I have decorative 'art' pieces that are Southwest in style.
I like the Native America crafts and depictions. I have a number of Robet Shields pieces.
My house is considered a relaxing therapeutic home from what others have told me.

If I had to describe it with two words:
'Scandinavian minimalist'
