Re: What's your favorite Motown hit?

My four kids were all born in the eighties and they will tell anyone that they knoww all the words to Motown songs because of being stuck in the van with me driving on long trips. My motto to them was " The driver is. the DJ"

Re: What's your favorite Motown hit?

For me, Motown is set in two different time periods, the 60's and 70's.

I loved the 60's and then the 70's became special because of the Jackson Five and Gladys Knight and the Pips.

Two different times but both enjoyable.

Love Child by the Supremes.

Amazing lyrics and you can almost feel the pain in the singing.

Our PBS station is running their membership campaign and they've got Motown on tonight.  There are so many great hits, I thought it might be fun to ask what your favorite song is?
