I agree it's cell phones. Many people are obsessed with their phones. I see people in my neighborhood pull out their driveway and drive by my house and they are on the phone. I don't get it. They left the house 30 seconds ago. I don't use my phone in the car.

I was hit by a car in a grocery store parking lot. The driver floored it in reverse and ran me over. He had forgotten to put it in drive as he was leaving the lot. Onlookers barricaded his car and stopped him. He claimed I had flung myself at his car in an attempt to vandalize it. He was 19, had no insurance, no job.................

How terrible but I am glad the little boy will be ok.
AAA's FARS (Fatality Analysis Reporting System) says The top seven states with the largest population of illegal immigrants are the top hit and run fatalities states. AAA found that unlicensed drivers are 66.36% more likely to be hit and run drivers compared to licensed drivers.
I have had at least 6 personal experiences with hit and run drivers, all here illegally. One was with my own car with my friend driving. No one was hurt thankfully but she was hit by a drunk, unlicensed driver who was here illegally. The driver tried to leave the scene but a couple of guys jumped in his car while he was trying to restart it and took his keys.
The next happened on Nov 1st 2014. 4 friends of mine were driving after one of these couples got engaged the same night and were t boned by a drunk, unlicensed driver who was also here illegally and had been deported several other times before killing two of my friends. One died at the scene in the arms of her boyfriend and the other died an hour later after being transported to the hospital just hours after just leaving her engagement party that I attended. The drunk, illegal and unlicensed driver tried to leave the scene and got on the highway driving miles with his lights off to try and go undetected. Thankfully other drivers were calling the police on the beltline and he was caught.
The other incidents that I know of personally all amazingly include one famiy, my daughters friends family. Her family has been hit 4 times ALL by illegal, drunk unlicensed drivers with no insurance. The last time her brother was in a coma for over 3 weeks. IT is a problem where I live. A big one. All of the accidents were 100% the fault of the other driver. I mean, what are the chances that would happen to one family so often and every single time being done by some drunk, unlicensed and in the country illegally.
