What happened to the easy to remove from invoice to the return shipping label?  It used to be so easy to use and now I have to cut off the invoice and scotch tape to my ackage.  Yes, I do realize it still is a prepaid return label but does anyone know why it is now so difficult to use?

I've had a couple of them too - - perhaps it depends on what you ordered. ( i.e.,     if item is being shipped directly from vendor  (plants, food) I wonder if those have the cut out label.  I haven't really paid attention, just know I've received a few too.

My guess is printing on the 'sticky' paper is more costly, and they probably are trying to save money.

I don't like the plain paper invoices either. 

Best guess is it is all about saving money.

Since the OP brought up the new invoices, I hate them but for a different reason.  Too many of them have detached one half from the other when I've received the pkg. or one half is stuck to the plastic bag and comes detached from the other half as soon as I take it out of the outer bag.   The perforation or something is too perforated and they are coming apart in halves.  I scotch tape the bottom half back to the top half so I can keep straight which invoice goes to which item.  Ugh - the new invoices are horrible.

(This thread should be in the Q Talk or Customer Care or Suggestion Forum IMO).

@Pearlee Here here!  I've had that happen too.......luckily I rarely need to return anything, but I hate having the label stuck to something!

I was just thinking/b**tching about that the other day!!  It is a pain to get the return label ready now...and my post man has told me that I should not put anything over the mailing info - like tape.   He said the "machine" has trouble reading the codes/info!!

I've been told not to cover the bar codes on labels with tape, and I've had others tell me it is ok as long as the tape is clear. 

It was just easier to use a sticky return label and not have to worry about it one way or the other, wasn't it!

Yup, I noticed it too, another cost- cutting strategy.

 It's so sad, many items seems to degrade with success.  Every item I start to like something, they cheapen it to make higher profit-  I buy less and less-  st!inky deals !
