Phoenix:    Halloween is our one day of (symbolic) Fall here.

A group of crows come back every year about 2 nd week of October.  I have some crows who are residents, but these "out of towners". Are another group. They stay for a few days and go somewhere else's.  Much to the relief of the resident crows, as they don't like to share the egg I give everyday

Here in Southern CA, not much changes, but the Boston Ivy leaves outside, are starting to change colors. I take them and put them in bowls to remind me of the Autumns I have known when I lived on the East Coast.

Ugh! HATE Fall! Too much work to do to get ready for the very long, cold Winter. I can honestly say there isn't anything positive I can think of when the word Autumn is mentioned.

Leaves changing colour,  The way the sun feels a bit warmer because the air is a bit cooler. The harvest at the farmers markets.  County fairs. The Renaissance Fair! and yes, I admit, Apple picking.
