@Iwantcoffee... I thought you were going to say you wanted coffee. Lol... When I was a kid growing up we always received an orange or tangerine in the bottom of our stocking. I wonder if you or anyone else had that tradition?

Not want? Ballet slippers.

And you?

@qualitygal... Fun thread !! I laughed out loud that you don't want "Ballet slippers"! Is that just something you thought of or did you take Ballet when you were younger?

I don't receive any Christmas gifts by choice, but I'd take a trip to Europe ( does that fit in a box?)

I would hate to get gift certificates.

Oh, I can relate.  We will be married 46 years this year and he puts so much effort into things that aren't me.  His mother loved anything large and gaudy.  I do believe it made her feel she "had made it!"  He has purchased expensive jewelry I have exchange for smaller less conspicuous pieces.  All he has to do is look around to the things I buy myself to see what I am confortable with.  Friends laughed a few years ago when he purchased me a new bowl and beater for my kitchenaid, BINGO, he got it, I love to bake and those second items made my life easier.

My mom would buy a box of fruit early in December from a local school. Last year relatives brought oranges, peppermint, and chocolate. Coffee would be good too! @EastCoastGal
